    Hi all,

I am looking for a good site that I can read up on browser security
for IE 6.0 SP1 as I am haveing some problems with keeping settings for Active X Crontrols. I run at HIGH or CUSTOM security
and it is now causing me some problems with loading of particular
    images.

I would like to do some reading on this issue and get re aquainted with settings so that I have the best possible security
without having to enable java or ActiveX

    Regards,

    FireDancer ;)

Fire Dancer--This should get you started
    http://www.microsoft.com/technet/tr...et/prodtechnol/winxppro/proddocs/zone_ovr.asp
    http://www.staff.uiuc.edu/~ehowes/
    http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/techinfo/overview/enhance.asp
    http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/security/default.asp
    http://www.windows-help.net/features/surf-safe.html

I personally run Active X mostly at Prompt. That way, while I do have to respond to the little boxes asking me if I want to use it, I have control. As you know most of the time saying No results in a perfectly readable page.
