IE 6.0 Favorites button lockup

    A recent problem has started in IE 6.0. Sometomes when clicking on the favorites button on the task bar, a blank favorites box will open on the left with no favorites list and a white background. The mouse pointer still moves on the screen but no response when clicking on anything. Have to hit the reset button before anything will work. Am running ME, 512Kb ram, 64mb Nvidia vid card, etc. All drivers appear to be the latest. Any ideas anyone???

    When this happens...are you able to do a ctrl/alt/del and see what app has stopped responding?

    Control-alt-del gets no response so I can't tell what might be locking.

    Clean out your temporary files internet files and cookies (including offline content).

    Does this solve the problem?

    If not, try running the IE Repair Tool.
