All of a sudden, when I click on a link on a web page to open a new page the page is small and I have to click on maximise to get it to full screen. How can I change this so it will open max size normally?

    Thanks in advance

The short answer is, you can't. What you can do is drag the window so that it fits the whole screen and then close the window. If that doesn't do it, drag the window to full screen size and hold down the ctrl key while closing the window. It won't be truely maximized but without special software it's the best you can do. Whether or not you knew it, this is what it was doing before. As to what causes it to change, it can happen if you click on a link that opens another window in a designated size and then you close the window with it at that size (or something similar). All new windows will (should) open in the size of the last window you last closed but never truely maximized. IE has always been this way and with all the complaints about it I can't figure out why MS has never done anything about it. Perhaps they don't see or hear the complaints. Hard to believe that though.
