Hey ppl, I've got this problem where DMA mode gets reset back to PIO mode everytime i shutdown the computer and reboot it. It's the IDE Master(not sure what the full name of it was, hate not having the net on my computer), and it's Device 1, which is my Western Digital 120GB HDD. When i have switched it to DMA mode, and reboot, it will stay on DMA mode until i turn it off again. If it's on DMA mode, and i have to reboot, it stays on DMA mode. If someone could help me, that would be greatly appreciated :)

Check to see if your CD has the DMA setting also. I have read DMA needs to enabled for both types of drives.

Yeah, the CD Roms have DMA enabled. I thought this would be a Windows 2000 issue, since windows sets the DMA mode, right?
