Basically this is what happens, I turn on ICS, I get diso'd from my ISP.

I am running Win2K, have a USB Motorola 4100 modem, and a netgear fa310tx nic.

Other computer is running 98SE, with a netgear fa311 nic.

They are connected by a d-link de809-tc hub.

have a USB Motorola 4100 modem

From reading various posts both here on the new BB and the old, that may be 90% of the problem.

There is another post here somewhere ( which I can not seem to find ) with ( I believe ) a simliar problem. Changed to a non-USB modem and all was well.

Go to control panel\internet options\connections\sharing\ there is
a list of your network adaptors make sure the one you use
on your home net work is selected for that.
and the one you use for the internet usb modem is selected for that.
    Then it should share.
the share option is only available if ICS is installed first.
