Resolved Icons in Taskbar not opening

Hello, what the heck did I do or undo ? You know when you say open IE or Firefox, Thunderbird, etc and they show on taskbar. Well I would always click on one of them in Taskbar to show on Top. Well it won't do that anymore. Sometimes the icon in taskbar may flash, but it won't open on top of the previous window thats open. Sorry if not clear enough but I can't make it clearer.

Have you tried rebooting the PC? That usually fixes a lot of problems. If not, it could be a virus or spyware/malware doing this. Not wanting you to get on the net to get anything to fix this with. Have you ran any scans on the PC?

 

Hi MrBill, thanks for your input. I did a scan with my AV and also MalwareBytes and everything clean,,,Thank Goodness!! I am kinda lost here but It will workout, I hope!

I can't actually tell you what happened but the problem has fixed itself. Now when I click on icon the browser or Thunderbird launches itself over the other program...So thanks ppl for any help u offered,
