Resolved Icon missing , original start menu list missing, can't add anything to desktop

    Please! What have I done now????????????????
    Woke up to no desktop icons( like trash can etc.) and can not add anything to desktop.

    Have you tried rebooting your computer? Sometimes that is like a Miracle Worker.

    Yes, I just kept at it until I found something that worked, as to what I did I have not a clue- lol

    Did you try > Task Manager > Right click on Windows Explorer > Restart ?
