icon in system properties changed

    hi here comes a pain some icon not seeing it's original shape like sound icon it's showing more highest colour( dispaly graphic is)
    and when i check on desktop>properties>devicemanager the
    hardware icon not it's original shape like they all are duplicate so what's can i do what kind of this problem plz can any help about this but other icons are it's original shape like on desktop icon every one is okey and original shape and when go to my computer see drives=c,d,e all are k and control panel okey it's just problem i mention above.

    Locate the hidden file 'shelliconcache' in C:\Windows and rename it 'shelliconcacheold'. Reboot - Windows will reconstruct the cache and hopefully your problem will be solved. You can then delete the 'old' file.
