Hello, I have had this Wireless router for a few years now and am trying to get into the web console to check things. I go to 192.168.1.254 and it asks for the userid and password. Tried entering admin for the userid and password, but it pops back to the login so it is not liking one or both.

Their website has been unavailable for who knows how long and Googling only comes up with admin for userid and password.

I currently have Windows XP Pro SP2 with Zone Alarm firewall, the paid version. I am using Firefox for the browser and 10 MB down, 1 up on Charter.

    Help!!!

    chameleon90 - Welcome to the Board :)

I can only suggest that at some time in the past you changed either the id or password. Do you remember doing that?

Thanks, but I do not remember changing it. Maybe I can use a password killer to get past it.

Thanks Matt, but I can't seem to find the manual right now. Must be something about my organizational skills. They can best be discribed by a sign I once saw.

A clean desk is a sign of a sick mind. :D

Would using the "Reset" button to flush the router back to original factory settings be a possible solution? If this does work (clear the password), you will need to reconfigure the router for your ISP / network.

Now that is something I just might have to try...if it has a reset button. :D
