I scroll down after an IE7 page loads, but I am forced back to the top

Does anyone know why this is going on? It seems that when using IE7 and browsing to a fresh page, I naturally begin to scroll down to start reading the content and in a few seconds, I am unexpectedly returned to the top of the page. This occurs several times before the browser lets me read the page without this happening.
Is this designed to infuriate me or is this somthing that is sold to the advertisers at the top of most IE pages? "For $1000.00, we will return visitors to the top of this page (to see your ad again) 3 times."
Am I the only one annoyed by this?

Is there a way to stop this in IE or should I just switch to Firefox?

    Thanks

    Mark

The page has not yet fully loaded when you begin scrolling. Some ads may also have a javascript function onLoad:focus. If the ad is streamed from another domain it may be the last thing to load on the page.

  3. to hide this advert.

Hi Mark. Welcome to Windowsbbs! :)

    Try this:

Open Internet Explorer, and click Tools< Internet Options< Advanced tab. Under Browsing ucheck the checkbox that says use smooth scrolling. Click Apply and ok. Restart Internet Explorer. See if there is any change. BTW does this happen with every website that you visit or just a certain website?
