Ok before the brow beating begins I knew better....

I refurbished a AMD k6 200 mhz Win 98 SE for a customer that had little money. All was great, here. So I delivered the PC and the customer was relentless about getting( You guessed it) AOL 7.0 free. Through long frustrating arguments to no avail, I did it..

I wasn't home ten minutes and the phone rang...
Its in safe Mode...
The screens pixely...
It has a blue screen...
VXD errors all the time...

Oh you know this one dont yuh guys.....Stop laughing LOL

Anyway Ive heard many horry stories about removal of this beast. I mean complete removal...

So my question I guess is. Has anyone shared in my great exprience and if so how did you completely delete it?

I had planned to use AOL uninstall and delete all refernces in the reg.. Also any network references....

I have had little trouble with AOL 6.0. So I was going to install that and hope things are fine...

Any suggestions? Remember she refuses not to have AOL...
