To rename the Guest Account .....

Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Local Security Policy.

Then, in the tree at the left, open

Security Settings > Local Policies > Security Options.

In the right pane you will see ....

Accounts: Rename guest account [current name]

Double click on that entry and rename the guest account as you wish

The symptoms that u have said seems that the user account u r using has gone corrupt..
Are u using a desktop or a laptop?
    Try the following steps:
    1. whenever turning on your computer, start tapping f8.
    2. From advanced boot options, go to safe mode with networking.
    Check there ..
If nothing works.. Do a recovery.
    Have a nice time.
    bye..

I think you are confusing the OP - his original post - as I read it - is a series of questions, not a problem as such.
