I have lost Wordpad

    I have lost Wordpad on the Start Menu.
    Instead I have Wordpad(2). But when I click on
    this I get a popup entitled "Microsoft Backup. "
    I have no idea what this is. What can I do to
    delete Wordpad(2) and get my old Worldpad back
    in the Start Menu.

    Delete the incorrect shortcut.

    Search for "wordpad.exe ".

    Right-click the found program, Send To, and choose to create a shortcut on the desktop.

    Right-click drag the shortcut to where you want it in the Start Menu.

    Look at notetab.com and download the lite version - much better than wordpad ... ;)
