Resolved I have a license, how can I get an OEM disc?

I'm looking for an XP restore disc to reformat and reinstall a machine with. I bought this machine secondhand from a friend, because they didn't want to go through the hassle of having it fixed. (I jumped on that.) So, now I have a computer, which came with a license from the manufacturer, but no OEM disc, as it had long ago been lost to the ravages of storage units, disorganized closets and time.

I could buy another OEM disc, but that comes with a license. I have no desire to pay for a second license, since the machine transferred to me with one. But I've never had to get a disc without a license before, and I'm not sure where or how to get one.

What are the right channels to do this through?

 

I have a friend willing to give me a disc, but it's not the same SP as the license on the side of the machine. You said any Dell CD would work? Does that include if it was a different service pack?
