The first test link worked for me. Was promoted to enter a username and password.

    The second one:

There is a problem with this website's security certificate.

The security certificate presented by this website was issued for a different website's address.

Security certificate problems may indicate an attempt to fool you or intercept any data you send to the server.
We recommend that you close this webpage and do not continue to this website.

I wouldn't try the page again if I were you;)

What is your problem with Outlook Express?

Is it is not connecting with your mail server?

Have you checked the settings for the mail servers?

What error message do you receive when trying to access your mail through OE?

    Thanks pl find feedback

My question is why the link hhtps://mail.omantel.net.om is not opening .
I want to access my email account from my ISP website since suddenely I was not able to download my email from outlook express, all settings of email account in O.E are ok and there is no problem in it as the above link is main issue.

If you can open other https sites it would be best to speak with your ISP.

There are a number of things you can do to try and resolve this problem ....

Clear out your Temporary Internet Files - try to log on to your web mail

Check that the site is not being blocked by your firewall.

Check that the site is not listed in your HOSTS file.

I cannot see this being a virus problem as it is only one site, but feel free to post an HJT log in the Removing Spyware & Viruses forum. Be sure to include a link to this thread and a brief explanation of the problem.

    FYI ......
    - post the log file in the Removing Spyware & Viruses forum as noted above.

Sister had (sometimes still has) same problem.

She’s on qwest (dsl) "“ I’m on comcast (cable). IE sometimes wouldn’t open up her own internet site, it’s a www.xxxxxxx.com site where mail is also sent. But she could surf rest of internet. She’d call me up "“ I went to her site "“ it opened up just fine.

It’s an ongoing, mysterious and occasional problem to this day.
Numerous calls to ISP "“ but they have to catch it not working.
Happens about once every 2 weeks or so.
Last time it happened I checked her site with my laptop. It worked from MY home. Immediately drove over to her house, plugged laptop directly into her modem, bypassing any network, computer problems "“ and couldn’t access her site--- using pcanywhere remotely got on my desktop at my house "“ site opened ---- duhhhhh.

Re-booted modem "“ no joy "“ rebooted modem from modem menu "“ and it worked.
Qwest doesn’t know if any difference between rebooting modem by unplugging power cord or from modem menu. They’re sending new modem, but suspect something else going on. Like said ongoing mysterious problem.

    Try rebooting modem.

    Update on sisters problem.
Modem, computers were set to get DNS servers automatically.
    Apparently that didn’t always happen.
A new modem plus putting in static DNS IP addresses (need to put in static local IP addresses to do that) resolved issue.

I kinda blew it when brought my computer over to her house. To get on her network I got rid of my computer's static settings.

    Oh well- lol

BTW - don't have to use your ISP's DNS servers.
