    I am currently trying the newer I.E. v 7, beta 2. I run Win XP Pro SP2.
My question is: If I set my security settings to Disable when Active X settings are trying to run on the web page, I get a pop-up advising me that the active X controls are disabled. If I set the security to Prompt, I get the pop-up asking if I want to allow Active X to run. If I set the security to allow active X to run, I get the tan bar on the top of every page I visit telling me my settings are too low and if I want the system to correct the issue. No matter which setting I try, I get a pop-up or menu bar reminding me of my settings. This gets very annoying. When I set the settings to "disable" active X, I could not access my OWA e-mail, until I added my E-mail OWA to the Trusted sites list.
Does anyone know of a way to work around these pop-ups? I either get a pop-up asking me if I want to run Active X, or Active X is disabled & to click here to allow, or that my settings are too low and to fix the problem. Even when I tried to preview this post prior to posting it, I got another pop-up asking me if I want to allow Active X to run.

IE 7 is beta software - there are bound to be a few bugs.
