I click on desktop icons and it goes to recycle bin

When I click on a desktop icon it deletes it puts it in the recycle bin....I click on icons on my taskbar and they work just fine....just the ones on my desktop.

 

Do you have SP1 installed?

And it couldn't hurt to try this from Kelly's Korner #64 right hand column.

Appreciate the response. That site has a ton of good stuff. Just a bit of a pain finding what you want sometimes.
