    Hi all,

I use Foxit for my .PDF files. I have a 14 page document that has graphs, charts and numbers. Unfortunately, the only page I want is longer than what's displayed on my screen. I've tried using the marquee tool (to outline what I want) but, as I said, the page is longer than my screen and I can't use the scroll wheel on my mouse because it won't move the page.

I just want page 5 to copy and paste to Word.

    How do I do this?

I use Foxit and I just Left click to start highlight and move the pointer down the page/s > Right click > copy. Works for me everytime.
Just re-read Thread and scroll bar on right should enable you to move to Page 5 and copy as above, just as Steve suggested. Neil.

Use the zoom (either a magnifying glass icon or a plus/minus sign on the toolbar) feature to make the entire page small enough to fit on the screen, copy what you want, paste it into Word and if necessary, adjust the size there.

Or download, install and use Foxit PDF Editor.

@ Steve: That's what I'm trying to do — one page. Unfortunately the page is longer than my screen and I can't get to the last 3" of the page using the Marquee tool.

@Neil: I've tried that, but I only have the option to Copy To Clipboard. The formatting is completely off and the graphics, lines, colors, etc., are missing and it's a mess.

@Miz: I've tried that also. I still run into the problem of the formatting missing and it's a mess.

Does it matter if it is captured as graphic or must it be editible? If Grahic such as png or giff is acceptable, view this in fit full page and use win7 snippet tool to get what you want. Save the snippet and paste into word.

Boogers! Just read your specs and see your an XP owner. I hate being empty handed so....Perhaps this does the same thing:

The above suggestion is poor at best. Balloon was popped as soon as I realized you didn't have win7 and snippet. I was sloppy and should have checked your specs before replying. Sorry. I did have another thought though. Do you have office 2007 0r above and is "One Note" installed. Select the page view of Zoom/ "Fit" and "print" to "One note ". One note should load and icon be available as well as task on taskbar. Click on "one note" and select all and copy to word. NOTE* If not Print OneNote, perhaps something equally as handy is available via the print drop down. Also, make sure the page you want is the focus of zoom and when Print options come up, choose "Current Page ".

    Hi goddez1,

It's the thought that counts. :)

Anyway, The program now opens with black bars on the left and right no matter what I do and I can't get it back.

I uninstalled 4.3 and installed 5. (something) and it's still opening with the black borders. No matter what I do, I can't get it to open like it used to and the only way I can close out is with ctrl, alt, del.

Not 100% sure, but, I think it might have something to do with the F11 key. When I get a keyboard that works I'll post back. Thanks for the reply!

    Hi all,

I am extremely sorry I didn't post earlier. It seems like the F11 is stuck on Foxit. When I open a .PDF, it's in page view. I reinstalled it and it works fine now.

Again, sorry for not updating sooner.
