I cant boot from cd rom after by passing bios password

    hi i bought s computer from a guy and when i went to change the hard drive it was protected by a bios password now i took the battery out and waited a bit then put it back in and started it with windows xp home and it wont let me format or even boot from cd rom what can i do or did i do something wrong :eek:

    Get the password from the guy you bought the comp from or reset the bios using the motherboard jumper.
