Can someone please help me, I have a HP Media Center and a needed a bigger hard drive. When I removed my old one I tried using my system recovery cd's and I am getting an error message, "This Disk does not support this model PC ". These are the orginial disk that were shipped with my computer. Can anyone tell me what the problem is!

    Thanks,
    DirtyMind

    P.S. I have a HP Pavilion a1419h Media Center

    Welcome to WindowsBBS :)

One possible cause is that you now have a different and larger hard drive which the Recovery CD's do not recognise.

There is a workaround to this - reinstall the original drive - check that the computer is operational and then install the new hard drive as a slave. Clone the smaller hard drive to the larger.

The trial version of Acronis Migrate Easy 7 is uncrippled and fully functional for 30 days. I used it recently with no issues - very straightforward. See the User Guide on the page I linked to.
