Sorry for the long description, but I want to be as clear as possible. Maybe someone can give me some ideas to resolve this networking issue.
I have a Win 11 computer with 3 users who each have a folder of their work
Each folder has been shared with the individual user.
Julie – accesses the julie work folder
Erica – accesses the erica work folder
Deb – accesses the deb work folder
Each has a password so they cannot access the other’s folders
On Julie’s Win 11 computer, she can log into and access her julie work folder
On Erica’s Win 10 computer, she can log into and access her erica work folder
On Deb’s Win 10 computer, she can log into and access her deb work folder
All is fine with the above, but I have a 5th computer running Win 10
I want to give access so Erica can access her erica work folder from this computer but I get the Windows cannot access the location \\rdt\ericawork
Where rdt is the name of the hosting computer and ericawork is the name of the folder I am trying to access
If I run the trouble shooter it says that the erica user does not have permission to access the folder, but I know that isn’t correct as the UN and PW are what she does use on her computer.
If I try to log in with the Julie user I can access the julie work folder, but when I try to log in as the Erica user it doesn’t work, even though I can access the erica work folder from the Erica Win 10 machine with her UN and PW.
I have cleared the credentials on the uncooperative machine
I have enabled SMB 1.0/CIFS File Sharing Support
Changed Function discovery resource publication to automatic and restarted the service
Changed UPnP Device Host to automatic and restarted the service
But nothing change has helped on this machine.
    Any thoughts would be appreciated.
    Thanks

Right click on the folder and select Properties-> Security tab-> Click on Erica's user name

Does it say ALLOW for Full Control?

Thanks. I didn't think to check that, but since have.
It appears tht it is up to date, however it says that "Your organization has turned off automatic updates." "Some settngs are managed by your organization."
I am not the person who originally set up the machine many years ago.
I looked at everything in GPEDIT and there is nothing that has been altered, so I am at a loss here.
    It still refuses to connect.
At this point, I am advising the owner that it isn't worth pursuing any further as we are wasting time now.
    Thanks everyone
