I go to a certain astronomy site that I never had problems with before, now I have been getting this: "HTTP/1.1 New Session Failed" This started a few days ago, this occurs three out of 10 times I go there. To get it working I go to other sites, then back to the astronomy site. It is getting very annoying, at first I thought they were updating their servers but the site is working on my old XP, stumped on this one. From what I read on this error it seems this a server problem, or could this be a computer problem. I have not changed anything on my W-7 64bit computer & all other sites I have tried are working just fine.

    Regards

What browser are you using? Have you tried another browser?

    post the site URL

That error is is due to a server problem for certain, usually because of a slow CPU and not enough RAM. It occurs most often when the server cannot handle the quantity of requests it receives.

Realize that when you request a page at a site, that "click on a link or bookmark" generates a multitude of requests for the server. You make one request and it's broken down into requests for images, requests for text, requests for info from a database, requests to ad servers, cookie requests, etc.

The site in question is probably running Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS) rather than Apache Web server and also likely has older hardware. It also could be misconfigured or has imposed limitations set by the administrators.
