Have been trying to get a web site up on a friends machine (Canada). She is running Windows XP Home and using IE v.6.0. I was on her PC via Remote Assistance. If I double click on index.htm (frames mgr) we get a blank screen. Double click on any other page, e.g. homepage.htm, and the page comes up w/o header or sidebar. Yet when accessing the same index.htm page mounted externally on the web, her display of the frames is fine!

We have downloaded a new version of index.htm (after testing ) with the same results.

Everything on her PC is in the right folders. Thought it might have something to do with Security so I disabled iFrames and ActiveX on my machine but it still works fine.

    Any new thoughts??

    Chuck

Have you tried start=>run, keying in
    Code:
    sfc /scannow
and OK to repair any missing/damaged system files (which includes IE/OE on an XP system)?
