I need help! Sometimes when I click on links from a site I go to a lot, I only see HTML code on a white page. similar to "<body bgcolor= "FFCC00" background= "http://images5.theimagehosting.com/NAVY(1).1.jpg" text="

It's a link to sign up for an online gin tournament?

It's only one line of HTML and I have already updated Java and restarted my computer... any ideas?

I know it's not the site because othber people don't have the problem and I can get in using my hubby's computer.

    Thanks in advance!

Sorry to see that your post has not received any attention :(

I would normally suggest running System File Checker, but I am not sure if it will run off a Dell CD. Give it a try ....

Start > Run > type in sfc /scannow noting the space before the forward slash and have the XP CD handy. SFC will run and exit without any closing dialogue. To see which files, if any have been replaced look in Event Viewer - I think that's in Home.
