I'm posting this on behalf of someone else. We basically use Microsoft Exchange Server where we work, but we've found that a lot of people have started to send games via e-mail as an .htm file. Then when they open it it simply is just created in the Temporary Internet Files, then deleted straight away as soon as they close it, but it still remains in their inbox.

So we was wondering if there is anyway to scan people mailboxes for the specified file, and if there is any tools which we can use to block it in the future?

It would be as an attachment. The person who it's for has seen programs to do it but cost in their thousands of £'s, which we can't afford

Sounds like setting Exchange Server to block any .htm attachments would be the way to go then. I can't really think of any good business use for them anyway.

If the numbers weren't too great the Exchange admin could examine all the blocked inbounds and pass along any legit ones and warn the folks getting the game files attached.
