HP w22 LCD Monitor screen refresh rate

    My monitor gives me two options 59 or 60 hz. What is the difference, if any and which is best? The instructions say optimum resolution is 1680 x 1050 at 60 hz, but mine came set at 59 hz. 60 hz appears to brighter.

    That is the native resolution and refresh rate - use those. Can't say that I have come across the option of 59 hz at all - my 2 Iiyama flat screens only allow 60 Hz.
