HP vs Acer

Hey folks,

I'm out of town and need some advice.

I've been looking for a new computer for some time now. My wife works as a civilian employee on the local air base and has shopping priviledges at the military exchange. She called me to say they are having a sale on computers and wanted to know if I wanted her to get one. She is not sure if they will still be on sale by the time I return.

I tried looking both choices up on the Internet but can't find the Acer anywhere.

Here is what she is looking at:

HP Pavilon a6407c - 699.00

Acer Aspire M1610-B1303A - 598.00

I found the HP at HP's web site but I can't find any information on the Acer anywhere - even on Acer's web site.

Anyone have any idea where I can find information on the Acer?

Solved

Finally got in touch with Acer (after several redirects to other phone numbers). The HP is the much better bundle for the money.
