I recently upgraded from Windows 95 to ME. My HP printer was not working very well, so I uninstalled then reinstalled the software for it. Now it will not print at all (except thru MS DOS). When I reinstalled, I got a message that my INF file may be damaged. I have no idea what that is or how to fix it. I have tried every troubleshooting tip in the HP manual and from Windows.
Does anyone have any ideas? Please keep in mind that I really don't know what I am doing, so any instructions have to be fully explained.
    Thanks. :)

Go to the HP website, download the drivers for your printer (make sure they are the right ones for Windows ME) and install the new drivers.
