hp laptop. enter button doesn't work, touch pad buttons don't work.

    the enter button doesn't work, but the arrow keys do. touch pad buttons don't work, but the touch pad does... "ati catalyst control center is preventing from shutting down" popped up. every time i try to go to the windows menu ati catalyst keeps popping up too.. what happened and how do i fix it??
