HP brings back Windows 7

    This doesn't bode well for Windows 8, and I'm sure Microsoft is taking notice too. What MS should have done is make separate versions of their latest operating system - one for tablet PCs, and one for desktops and non-touchscreen laptops.

    It will be interesting to see what Windows 9 looks like.

    Surprising, not that there are a lot people who prefer the Win7, but that a manufacturer like HP is promoting older version of Windows, instead of the latest. Actually, what HP is doing, is something that Micros~1 has chosen not to do. To listen to their customers. Micros~1 really needs to change its course regarding that, if the next version of Windows doesn't do significantly better job in fulfilling customers wishes, future for MS & Windows looks increasingly dim...

    All customers really want is an - easy-to-use / user-friendly - operating system that doesn't crash at the drop of a hat.

    They say "money talks ", but I'm beginning to wonder if that's true with Microsoft.
