I am setting up a Dial up server connection with my freind to share files and to network out computers together. We are having some problems. It is because we don't know what we are doing. Help.

We need to know some things, including if binings need to be hooked in the tcp/ip dail up adaptor protocol (I have both client for microsoft networks and file and print sharing unhooked to stop hackers) and how to bring up the screen of each othes files that are shared. Also, if we need to use hyper terminal (please explain exactly what that is for our reference either way. I may need it later. I don't even know how to run it: I don't know where it is).

We connect and the dial up server says my freind computers name is connected but nothing else happens.
