OK, I know that sounds rediculous. How about this, though. How do you turn on cookies when they are already turned on? Perhaps more rediculous? Well, here's the problem. I tired to access my AOL email via IE. When I tried to log on, a little window popped up that told me to turn on Cookies. Problem is, they are already turned on (to "Medium).

I suppose I should mention that on another PC the Cookies settings appear to be the same as on the one in question, and I am able to log on to AOL via IE on that PC.

What might be wrong on the PC in question?

    Thanks.

Take a look on the status bar of IE...it might have a "Red" icon showing. To me it looks like a little red eye. If you do have one double-click it and it will open a 2nd window that lists the different addresses or domains that are trying to drop cookies onto your PC.

This site gives you good info on IE6.0 and cookies...http://www.affiliateguerrilla.com/articles/cookies_and_ie6.asp

Thanks for the info. I suspect my problem is more likely within my IE than the site that is trying to drop a cookie on my. On my PC that has the problem I see a something in the IE status bar that looks like a page with a corner folded over and has a yellow triangle with an exclamation point in it. After that it says: "Done, but with errors on page ". That might lead one to think that the whoever developed the webpage might have made a boo-boo, but I don't get that on another PC I have when I try to access the same page. That leads me to believe the problem is either in Windows or IE on the PC in question. The PC in question, the one where I have the problem, is running IE 6.0.2800.1106. The PC that doesn't have the problem is running IE 6.0.2600.0000.
