Does anyone know how to turn OFF the confirm on delete message in outlook express WHEN I'm deleting something from my Deleted folder.

    Thanks,

I couldn't find any way to disable that annoying message when manually deleting stuff from that folder.

However, the confirmation message doesn't appear if you enable "Empty messages from the Deleted Items folder on exit" in Tools>Options>Advanced. If you use the Deleted Items folder to store stuff you're not sure you're ready to delete permanently, that's probably not going to be a real good solution for you, though. ;)

    Thanks Miz

Yep, that's my problem in a nutshell. I like to save my deleted stuff for a while versus sending it to the bit bucket every day. Manually sending it to another folder (predelete?) is also a pain because you have to point and click so much.

I was kinda hope'n that someone know of a registry hack or the like. I looked around the registry but didn't find anything that looke promising.

    Live long and prosper:D

Funny thing Jim...I don't get a delete confirmation in OE6. When I delete the email goes to the deleted items folder and when I close OE, they are gone the next time I open. I don't know why.

That's because you have selected Empty messages from the 'Deleted Items' folder on exit from Tools > Options > Maintenance
