How to supress the 'search' toolbar in IE 6

    I downloaded the Google Search toolabr once....;(((
    I have tried to stop it from displaying by view/toolbars/ unclick 'search' adn then lock toolbars.

    Next time I open an IE window the little pest has returned.

    Hoe to I get rid of it permanently , please.

    Add/remove programs in control panel. Look for Google.

    As much as I love my google toolbar you can also do this from the dropdown on the googletoolbar its self. Click on the google button and from the dropdown select help and slide down to unistall. I believe you have to be connected to the net. It pulls you to the site for an auto uninstall after asking why????.

    You may want to cleanup any leftovers, if any, by using "hijackthis" afterwards.
