    How do I make Windows Media Player my default choice?

    In Media Player click tools>options>file types.

    Default to Windows Media Player

    Here's one way....R click Start...Explore..find a file you want to open....R click on file name..select Open with....
    then choose Windows Media Player from list and check the box that says "Always use selected program to open this type of file "
