I need to set the receive timeout in Windows XP (IE 6) so that it will not time out a download request. Speciofically, I need to click on many download links, (site limits 2 threads) then go away and have them download. Currently, after a few minutes they start timing out.

A link here apparently tells how to do this on IE 4, http://www.windows-help.net/windows95/ie40-50.shtml but it does not seem to work on XP.

    Any suggestions?

I don't know what registry modification to make, but TweakMaster, shareware, has setting that may help.
