How to send email when away from home

    At times I like to access my email using OE 6, XP and a laptop, via a wireless connection, when away from home. I can receive my email, but cannot send. Can you tell me how to configure, temporarily, my OE account to send email when I am not in my own ISP area? Thanks. Jack[/FONT]

    You need to get a web based email like hotmail, gmail, yahoo etc....

    The reason is that most ISP's don't allow you to use their SMTP server to send mail when you are not connected to their network.

    Also, it may be that your internet provider has web based email available. Many of them do. If you haven't already done so you might want to check that out. You could use it for sending emails from your regular account if needed.
