Resolved How to replace failing hard drive on Windows XP Machine

    My PC hard drive is failing--not dead yet but going. I want to transfer my PC configuration to the new hard drive I bought. I am not sure how to do this. I have an external hard drive that I could use to copy the old hard drive to, but then how would I get copy moved from the external hard drive to the new blank internal hard drive once I pull the old one out & put the new one in its place?
