    (Using XP Pro SP2)

All of a sudden, half way through boot/reboot, I get split screen with my name on the right, asking me to click on my name so it can log me on.

Does anybody know how to remove this nuisance so that Windows can boot without interruption (not waiting for me to click on my name) Thanks.

You don't need to uninstall the update, just right-click the Desktop, choose Properties, and then in the Screen Saver tab uncheck "On resume password protect ".

    Return from Stand by

I use TweakUI and no screen saver but I get the Log on screen when I resume from Stand by. Is this by design or can I stop it. Just an annoyance. XP Pro.

Right click on the desktop, properties>screen saver and then click the power button. Click the advanced tab and uncheck the line that says "prompt for password when computer resumes from standby ".
