A while ago, I burned an ISO disc for another computer. Now I have this icon on my desktop that I can't delete because "....this file is open in System" I hope this makes sense. My OS is win 10. My laptop is an HP Spectre. Thanks.

I did run the sfc scan and everything was OK.. I'm a little hesitant in doing the other suggestions because it's all foreign to me and I don't want to mess up the computer. The computer is running fine except for this iso file. Is there anything that is simpler to do?

Using Safe Mode, as recommended as Method 1 in the link I gave is very easy to do if you follow those directions there and cannot in any way "mess up" the computer. It is a commonly recommended step when people are having difficulties. You go to Safe Mode so there are no needless things running, only the bare necessities and very often whatever it is that is needed to be done can easily be done because there is nothing to interfere. Once whatever it is has been accomplished you just shut down the computer and then reboot back into normal mode.
