    Dear reader,

I have worked on a ms word file, that I opened from my mailbox, whereby I thus have not used the save as option. Therefore the file has not been saved on my computer. However I did use the save button of the word task bar, several times including right before I closed the file.

I think my pc has made a temp file for this document, but unfortunately I have allready shut down my pc. Is there a way that I can recover this file.

Thanks in advance, someone that has worked very hard on a document which is gone now.

    Best regards,

    Arthur van Keulen

You should have received a Box asking you if you want to save the Document before closing.
I am not predicting Doom but I remember my Daughter sitting till 2AM in the morning for her Higher School Certificate and not do a "Save As" it was 4 AM the next day.
    Hope you have better luck.

If you open Word, the document should be listed under Recent Documents.
