Not really about that part(above) but in the same vein. I went to install W10 after I disconnected the other drives. I have the latest MCT version on USB. I have a 500G SSD for it to install upon. The PC recognizes everything and the key is accepted as good and then at the install moment, it says the partition is MBR and it needs GPT. I tried formatting the drive but had no choice on the type of format. Do I need to use a third-party program to get the SSD to be GPT? I went into my disk management program on W7 Pro and it does not show a choice either, to make the SSD a GPT disk. Help please. I went hunting on the Internet and found instructions to use CMD to change the volume to GPT. Will see if it works tomorrow moening. For now this is solved.
