    Hi
I am curious if there is a way to go onto a computer that has a server and for it not to be recorded by the server...For example: If I went on the computer and typed in the following web site "www.yahoo.com" is there a way the server would not show that ??? and basically show I was not on the computer trying to access that site ???

Perhaps it would help if you explained why you want to be invisible when on line. Internets Explorer 8 'In Private Browsing' keeps it private at your end but I am sure the server knows you are there.

As hard as it may sound to believe, I was more curious than anything else. The discussion came up at work because the work computers have a filter blocking certain web sites and to make a long story short, is there a way to go on (and not go onto the sites that are blocked) but any site in general and prevent the server from logging it...None of us are looking for ways to circumvent the filter, we are glad to have the Internet available to us but like I mentioned, this is a question primed towards curiosity...Thank you for your assistance.

I can't be 100% sure but I would think it is extremely unlikely.

No, that is of course not possible!

If you are accessing resources on any computer/server/web site certain detail will be logged.

This discussion is right on the edge of what I would want to discuss here, so I suggest we leave it at that.

Thank you gentlemen...I figured it was a borderline question but curiosity some times kills the cat (sort of speaking)...
