    Hi All

I have been looking for information relating to an earlier thread I posted (Voice Conversation thru Firewall & LAN) and have found out that I have to ... 'open ports' as indicated by the follwing extract fom another site...

Port 6901 is for voice communications
Allows Voice, PC to Phone, Messages, and Full File transfer capabilities.
Thnx to Brad King & Bill Finch Jr.
    IN TCP 6891 - 6900
    IN TCP 1863
    IN UDP 1863
    IN UDP 5190
    IN UDP 6901
    IN TCP 6901

I am using the built in XP firewall - how do I 'Open' these ports.

    John

Give this a try... Go to the properties of whatever connection you use (get there by right clicking the icon in taskbar or, by going to network connections and then right click your connection... choose "properties" either way).

Choose the advanced tab, click on settings, then add your settings!
