If the report said : you system file was replace or delete, and always display.
you can use the win2000 system files conservancy programe to recovery. "SFC command "
    >start > run> type SFC/scannow, this command can scan and recovery the system files.
    SFC [/SCANNOW] [/SCANONCE] [/SCANBOOT] [/REVERT] [/PURGECACHE] [/CACHESIZE=x]
/SCANNOW Scans all protected system files immediately.
/SCANONCE Scans all protected system files once at the next boot.
/SCANBOOT Scans all protected system files at every boot.
/REVERT Return scan to default setting.
    /PURGECACHE Purges the file cache.
/CACHESIZE=x Sets the file cache size.
you can depends of waht you need

    Hi Jacky,
Not sure if you're posting advice or asking for suggestions?
I'll assume you're asking for suggestions.
Usually best to use the sfc command ONLY if you suspect a problem can be corrected by one of these commands, rather than running sfc as part of regular system maintenence.
sfc /scannow is probably the more commonly used command to check and replace incorrect, over written or corrupt system files. Other system problems can occur sometimes when using these commands, but they can be very usefull as well. Best to have an SP4 slipstreamed install CD as well, so system files are fairly up to date if they are replaced from the CD.
