While Windows 7 Profession 64-bit is installed in an Intel Core 2 Duo PC with 4 GB RAM installed, the Windows XP Mode (Start>My Computer>>System Properties) has reported 512MB RAM.

How can I increase the RAM allocation to Windows XP Mode?

Shut down Windows XP mode (don't hibernate), then open Windows Virtual PC from the All Programs menu. Select Windows XP Mode and from the menu choose Settings > Memory.
