    Hello All,

I've managed to import my contact list from OE6 to the new PC (W7 running Outlook) but I have been totally unsuccessful in being able to import all of my emails and folders from OE6 on the old PC.

There are instructions on the web that say I should "import to OE on the new PC (or import to Windows Mail) but I can't find any utility that recognizes OE's multi-file folder system (.dbx) - and my new PC doesn't have OE. It has WM.

    Any help would be appreciated.

This is the relevant section? .....

You do not need OE installed on the second computer.

    Fixed

Got it done by following this: http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/convert_oe.htm

Short version: downloaded Windows Live Mail to new PC. Imported old OE6 folders (.dxb) into Live Mail. Next, using WLM, export messages into OL7.

    Done.

    Thanks for all the suggestions.

Glad to hear of your success :) The MS method should work, but, what the heck - there's always an alternative!
