    Hi barcann,

To change fonts used by Windows try the "Display Properties" icon from the Control Panel. The "Appearance" tab is where you make the changes. I'm assuming you want the changes to be permanent default change rather than temporary.

To change many application "Default Fonts ", may require an "option>setting" from within the program its self.

Try playing with the links below for options and any changes that are not carried through to a program, just append your post with the specific program name and request any additional help. It may be best to set a restore point or at least backup your registry. At some point you may get lost with customizations and while in theory restoring should be relatively easy, sometimes it just doesn't work as planned.
