    Can anybody suggest a way to export birthdays from the Contacts Address Book? That field doesn't show up on the list of fields.

    If you also have Outlook (not outlook express), it can be done very easily:
    open address book by Start->run->wab
    open outlook and go to open contact folder. make a new subfolder if you like.
    Go back to WAB window to select those contacts you want to export.
    Drag and Drop to the contact forlder in outlook. they will be there. (you will get windows popup for each and every contact you dragged. Just click on "save and close" to save them).
    After you have them in the contact folder, you will be able to export them using Outlook "import/export" from the file menu.. it supports more formats and exports all fields.

    If you do not have Outlook. it will be hard to export birthdays to CSV format. But you can export all fields to vCard format files and then manually edit those files. That will be a lot of work if you have lots of contacts.
    vCard files look like this:
    Code:
    BEGIN:VCARD
    VERSION:2.1
    N:;cxy
    FN:cxy
    BDAY:20040706 [COLOR=Blue] <<Birthday[/COLOR]
    EMAIL;PREF;INTERNET:XXX@hotmail.com
    Or maybe some other program will support importing vCards and exporting CSV. I am not sure, sorry.
