In the course of trying to get resources for soundblaster16 sound card I disabled the ecp printer port. Bad mistake. Now I need the port to use an external zip drive. Cannot seem to find info on how to go into bios to enable. I know that I have to hit the F1 key of HP computers (7410p with win98SE) but do not know what to do once I get there. Does anyone know where I can go to find the info or what I should do?

    Hi ...

You should find the settings under....

    BIOS Setup, "Advanced Menu Settings"

    then

    "Peripheral Configuration "

you may also want to boot to safe mode one time and goto device manager and remove any existing printer port entry's ....

    Cheers
